Middle School Track Round-Up

EUGENE, Ore.–  In the Middle School All-Comers Meet at the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field, Middle Schoolers from Stayton, LaCreole of Dallas, Walker of Salem, Willamina and Silverton had athlete’s in the Meet.

Here’s a Round-Up:

Boys Track and Field:
Stayton’s Brandon Wagar finished fourth in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 4:32.51, sixth in the 1,600-meter race with a time of 4:51.25 and sixth in the mile with a time of 4:53.50.  The Viking eighth-grader PR’d in each race.

Silverton’s team of Colin Ross, Nathan Traeger, Casper Murphy and Riley Greggs finished seventh with a time of 49.18.
The Walker, from Salem, squad of Christian Apling, Dominic Ramirez, Marcelo Perez Varga and Brayden Blunt finished 11th.
Willamina’s team of Esten Kimsey, Jacob Bazzy, Kaiden Norwest and Shane Mathers finished 20th with a time of 52.09.

Girls Track and Field
1,500-meters
Alexa Vining finished 40th with a time of 6:13.45, finished 43rd in the 1,600-meter race with a time of 6:38.17 and 43rd in the mile with a time of 6:40.74

LaCreole’s, from Dallas, team of Sally Torres Estrada, Adaleyna Listsin, Paetyn Braedy and Harlow Nelson finished third with a time of 54.41.

Stayton’s team of Alexa Vining, Vi Vining, Payton Beeks and Mila Moorley finished 16th with a time of 4:55.19.
Willamina’s team of Bridgette Manley, Madison Warnicke, Briar Clemmer and Katrine Huff finished 20th with a time of 5:15.67
