You keep missing that Ryan Boyd qualified in four events at state. He is a senior at Regis and this is the first time he has made it to State, other than as a relay alternate, in four years. He PR’d the last five times he has run the 110 hurdles. Not only did he place fourth in pole vault, but he qualified in 110 and 300 hurdles , placing third in both, and will be running in the Regis 4×400 relay.
PS – Ryan Boyd will also be representing the state of Oregon’s Track & Field team, in Australia, for DownUnder Sports .
Hey Kathy, my apologies! I’m trying to keep up and remember every event everyone does! But thats awesome that he is representing Oregon with the Oregon Track and Field team, I’ll try to catch up with him today about that honor, I’m going to leave during the 1A-3A portion today for a playoff Lacrosse game at West Salem.

Topic suggestion: Club volleyball. DSK 18 is doing very well this year and have primarily small school players. They are based out of Corvallis with players from schools like Dallas, Philomath, Central, Central Linn and Scio. They have moved to Platinum level in CEVA this year. They are currently ranked 2nd in all 18’s in Washington and Oregon. They are going up agaist players where the entire team are DI commits. They will be in Vegas this weekend. Some of their games are set and some games will depend if they stay Platinum or move to Gold depending on success at tournaments.

Foxes Boys Soccer is 5-0, concluding their preseason as they begin league. They have a game thursday @7 on the turf in Silverton. “catch us at Hillsboro Stadium lads” stated Gary Cortez, a center back for the undefeated foxes. Derek Macelfresh, head coach of the varsity boys, believes running is a big component of staying undefeated as league games approach. “Water and sleep is the move if we want to be on top” adds Carsen Koch, goalkeeper and Captain for the boys.
