4A Softball

Alexis Bales drove 2RBI’s in Cascade’s 4-1 win over Philomath.  Hannah Walliman struck out five for the Cougars while going 1-for-2 hitting.  

Stayton’s Jessica Rule and Cedella Ritchie each drove in 2RBI’s and Brielle Kessler drove in another 3RBI’s.  Rule struck out seven in the circle for the Eagles in their tough 9-8 defeat to Sweet Home and had hit a home run in the game.

2A/1A Softball

Payton Saucy went 3-for-4 and Abby Cavazos drove in 2RBI’s in St. Paul’s 9-0 win over Central Linn on the road.  Gracie Koch pitched a shutout.

Perrydale plated 13 second inning runs against Nestucca in their 16-2 win at home.  Courtney Burbanks went 3-for-3 with 3RBI’s and Courtney Reed struck out eight in five innings.

Sheridan scores seven of the game’s last eight runs as the Spartans defeated Gervais 8-2.  The game was tied at 1-1 going to the fourth inning
