Stayton, Ore.–In their preseason finale against Lebanon, the boys of Stayton Boys Soccer exploded for seven goals in their 7-0 win over the Warriors to close out the preseason with a 3-0-1 record.

Wind caught Courage Minten’s shot in eighth minute and the Lebanon goalie made several key saves to keep Stayton off the board entering the 12th minute.

Alex Cramer had his foot caught in the turf as he attempted a 14th minute shot that too was saved by the Warriors.

But eventually, the shots found the net as David Ramirez in the 23rd minute followed by Levi Summer’s 25th minute goal that had Stayton up 2-nil by halftime.

When the second half started, the Eagles scored five more to end the game up 7-0 as they look to start Oregon West Conference play at home versus Philomath at 6pm Tuesday.
