McKay Hires Former Scot Josh Riddell

SALEM, Ore.–  News broke out of McKay High School Friday afternoon of the hiring of 2004 McKay graduate Josh Riddell as head coach of the McKay Football Team.

Riddell had 10 Varsity Letters during his time in the Green and Gold, four coming in football where he was All-League First Team as a QB and third team all-state and First Team all-League as a Defensive Back.

After High School he went to Foothill Junior College in California and spent time with the Missisippi State squad before coming to Monmoth and playing for Western Oregon in 2008 and 2009 where he threw for 5,206 yards and 41 touchdowns in two seasons for the Wolves.

Riddell is taking over a McKay squad that went 1-7 in Greater Valley Conference play and 1-8 overall in 2015.
