St. Paul, Willamette Valley Christian, Crosshill Christian, Blanchet, Salem Academy, Santiam, Willamina, Kennedy, Delphian, and Amity had athletes place at Day 1 of the State Meet in Eugene.

Here’s a Round-Up

1A
St. Paul’s Branson Cook placed fourth in the High Jump with a jump of 5-feet-11.25-inch jump.
Willamette Valley Christian’s Caleb Reichelt finished eighth in the Long Jump with a jump of 19-feet-7-inches
St. Paul’s James Davidson finished eighth in the Shot Put with a PR throw of 44-feet-9.5-inches
Crosshill Christian’s Kasey Zuldema finished fifth in the Javelin with a PR throw of 109-feet-11-inches.
Crosshill Christian’s Claire Fish finished eighth in the Long Jump with a jump of 15-feet-2-inches.

Blanchet’s Molly Mucken won the State Title in the Discus with a PR throw of 121-feet-9-inches.  Kennedy’s Tia Allen finished State Runner-Up with a throw of 114-feet-11-inches.  Willamina’s Hadley Hughes finished sixth with a throw of 100-feet-8-inches
Salem Academy’s Caleb McGraw finished State Runner-Up in the Shot Put with a throw if 45-feet-6.25-inches.  Blanchet’s James Barnett (41-feet-11.5-inches), Santiam’s Colt Twede (41-feet-6.5-inches) ans Blanchet’s Elijah  Halfman (41-feet-1.5-inches) finished fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.
Willamina’s Hadley Hughes finished third and Blanchet’s Sarah Naegeli finished seventh in the Javelin.
East Linn Christian’s Christenson won the Pole Vault with a 13-feet-1-inch PR with Gervais’ Isaiah Martushev finished tied for third with a jump of 12-feet-0.75-inch jump.
Kennedy’s Alyse Williams finished second in the Long Jump (15-feet-9.5-inches), Blanchet’s Tatum Fleming finished fourth (15-feet-2-inches) and Willamina’s Nichole Goodwin finished sixth (14-feet-9.5-inches) jump
Delphian’s Liv Curry finished third in the High Jump with a jump of 4-feet-11.75-inches, a PR.  Salem Academy’s Emma Brewer (4-feet-9.5-inches) and Blanchet’s Horte Gemedo (4-feet-7.5-inches) finishes fourth and sixth respectively.
Kennedy’s Yulissa Chavez Cortes finished eighth in the 3,000-meters with a PR time of 11″29.43
Kennedy’s Johnathan Kintz finished third in the 3,000-meter race in a time of 9:18.59, a PR.  Chemawa’s Ernest Oldman finished seventh with a PR time of 9:41.80.  Regis’ Stuart McLaughlin finished eighth with a PR time of 9:43.24

Amity’s Kylie Wilson finished State Runner-Up in the Javelin Throw with a throw of 116-feet-8-inches.  Riley Vanderzanden finished eighth with a throw of 101-feet-2-inches.
Amity’s Brody Horne finished third in the Shot Put with a 46-feet-0.75-inch PR
