NEWPORT, Ore.–What a way to get that sour taste out of their mouth’s after a tough loss Tuesday versus Cascade as the Lady Huskies of North Marion hit nine three-pointers in their 52-43 victory over the Lady Cubs of Newport.

Of those nine three’s, Hannah Kinnburgh showed off her range five times from three-point land as she scored 21 points in the win as North Marion jumped out to a quick 11-3 lead.

But some turnovers and the three-ball against them allowed Newport to cut it close in the final frame as the Lady Huskies host Yamhill-Carlton next Friday at 7pm
