TOLEDO, Ore.–  The Gervais did just more than snap their three-game losing streak, they dominated in their 78-48 win over Siletz Valley Tuesday to improve to 3-4 on the season.

For Head Coach Ben Schultz, he was pleased with how his team did with just one practice before the tournament because of weather, but knows they need to focus on what got them the victory Tuesday if they look to string together two-straight wins Wednesday afternoon versus Neah-Kah-Nie.

They came out ready as can be expected with only one practice before the tournament. We were able to get everyone in the game for good minutes for all players 1 thru 12,” said Schultz.  “We have to focus on what got us the win. Pressing, and moving the ball offensively were keys. If we can continue to do that then we will continue to be successful.”

Neah-Kah-Nie played Eddyville Charter Wednesday to open the Toledo Beach Bash Tuesday.
