STAYTON, Ore.– After a tough two weeks against some of 4A’s best, Stayton found a way Friday Night for their first win of the season against Sweet Home on the newly laid turf field at Stayton High School.
The lone score came by and Aidan Hill Punt Return for a Touchdown as the Eagle defense swarmed and shut down the Huskies offense that scored 27 against Crook County last Friday in the 6-0 win for Stayton.
With Philomath cancelling their football season, the Eagles will have next Friday off before facing the ‘Team From Turner’ in Cascade on September 30.
