GERVAIS, Ore.–Under beautiful skies at Gervais High School Monday, the ladies of Amity and Gervais battled in the 3A/2A/1A Special District 3 in a very physical match on the soccer pitch.

The Cougars pressured the Warriors as they scored their first two goals of the season, one by way of a penalty kick in the final minutes of the game.  But, though their battle with Amity, the Warriors found their offensive groove in the second half in the 3-2 win Monday afternoon as Amity picked up their first win of the 2016 campaign.
