The Raiders football team will be traveling to Billings, Montana to face Rocky Mountain College.

After dropping 54 points on Montana-Western last Saturday, the Raiders will be traveling 18-hour bus trip from Ashland, Oregon to take on the pass heavy; blitz-friendly Grizzles.

The Grizzles have won their first two games of the season against Jamestown College and Dickinson State.  In both games, there offense have scored an average of 34 points a game behind sophomore Bryce Baker, who will be bringing in his 420 passing yards and five touchdowns into Saturday’s game against a Raiders defense that only allowed 21 points and intercepted the Bulldogs three times in their first game of the season.

But the Raiders need to put pressure on Baker as he has only been sacked twice all season as well as keeping an eye on 6-foot-1-inch sophomore receiver Andre McCollach, who is Baker’s favorite target as McCollach has 13 of 43 of Baker’s 43 receptions and 183 of Baker’s 420 passing yards.

Offensively, the Raiders will have their own gunslinger in 6-foot-2-inch sophomore Austin Dodge, whom completed 66.7-percent of his passes for 347 yards and threw for two touchdowns in one game so far this season behind a balanced attack of running and passing.

Senior running back Manny Barrigan and freshman running back Zach Marshall are leading the rushing attack with 161 yards of the Raiders 217 yards on the ground on 42 attempts.

But they will be met up with a vicious swarming defensive attack by the Grizzles that allows 19 points per game, as they’ve already racked up 166 total tackles and 9.5 sacks in two games.  Linebacker Travis Bertelsen leads the team in tackles with 19 and 6’4, 250-pound defensive lineman Doug Karmowski leads the team in sacks with 3.5 on the season.

Kickoff in Montana will be at 1p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
