I’ve been back in Oregon for about a month now and so far, I’ve done a lot more in the last month than I did in two down in California.
I’ve sent in like a dozen job applications. Out of those I’ve heard back from about six. Out of those six, I’ve gotten two interviews, one at Target and one at Toys ‘R Us. One didn’t pan out, the other; I got a second interview from.
The one I got the second interview from, Target, I’m waiting on as we speak. I should hear back from them this week. I’m pretty confident that I got the seasonal job there, the higher ups at the store seemed to like me.
I’ve been checking in on applications in the meantime however just in case it falls through.
On the school front, I got everything figured out. I got my finaincal aid figured out, (its all loans sadly, but it’s still money for school), I got and switch my major (from Economics to Health and PE), etc.
I’ve been looking into graduated school as well. Seeing what classes I should take and what schools to go to. I’m leaning towards the Excerise and Sports Psychology graduate program at Oregon State and the Human Phsyiology graduate program at the University of Oregon right now. I’ve also looked into teaching.
On the homefront, I’ve so far helped my dad filled out the paperwork he needed to do to get the meds for his MS and to sign up for Social Security as well as helping out a little bit around the house.
I need to increase the helping around the house a bit since I got my schooling thing outta the way haha.
Gotta stay positive…lengendary status
