So, after two short months I’m going back up to Oregon.  There are many reasons, but the main reason is that my dad was diagnosis with MS, Multiple sclerosis, about three weeks ago and I ultimately decided that it would be best if I go back north to support him through this.

There wasn’t really anything to tie me down to the Bay Area besides a dead-end job at 7-11 so the decision to head back up was made easier.  The freelancing gigs down here for San Mateo and Roseville dried up like water in Death Valley and nobody around are biting and I’m not gonna work 8.25 an hour in a area in which you need a lot more money to survive, (it’s easier to live and survive in Oregon, the less on the cost of living) and I’m not in the mood to wait and wait…and wait until someone did bite.

Now for the plan in Oregon…orginally called ‘Plan B’ was a plan three weeks in the works.  It was to turn in my two week notice at 7-11, spend a few days applying and contacting papers in Oregon while saying bye to a few people down here in California, re-apply to school, (Southern Oregon University), and get my second bachelor’s degree in Economic.

After that, I’ll move back up to Oregon, (with the help of my girlfriend cause she has a big enough car to get my stuff back up there haha) and start talking to people about part-time work as well as talking to the local papers about freelancing work while waiting to get back to school for Winter Term 2012.

During this time, I’ll be at my dad’s place; helping him through his situation and making sure he’s doing everything he needs to do to be successful with this disease.
