So I haven’t been keeping up on this lately.  Been busy the past few days tracking down applications and such, but here’s the update:

I’ve applied to the Spirit Halloween store, Petco, Petsmart and the Gold’s Gym in Campbell.

Petco I wasn’t feeling because I didn’t have the vibes and such I was receiving from the place.  So I decided to go against it.

Petsmart and Spirit, where i applied to about two days ago, are hiring, so I’ve been going there at least once a day to see if they’ve looked at my app yet or not.  The guy over at Spirit told me to come in after the weekend and the girl at Petsmart told me that she’s starting the process later this afternoon after doing some interviews.

The Gold’s Gym in Campbell, I filed a application for them, thinking that they might not have any openings.  But when I called them yesterday I found out that they got a opening for a full-time closing person.  So I’m gonna call them later on today to see if the position is still open and if they have reviewed my application yet or not.

I haven’t had my article for the Roseville Press-Tribune yet.  But I’m going to send a e-mail out to the editor to see when that might be.  I’m just excited to have my name on something in the newspaper.

Also I’ve send out a e-mail to a sports editor over at the San Mateo County Times to see if they need any help in the sports department for the fall season.  It would be easier for me to travel the 25 miles or so to games here than traveling 2 hours to Roseville once a week.  It’ll be more beneficial that way for me as I see it.
