Yesterday was a good sign towards progress of getting somewhere close to a job.

I haven’t heard from any of my non-journalistic jobs yet, but I did hear from two people from the journalistic community.

One, from the San Jose Mercury News Group (that has the smaller papers like the Sunnyvale Sun, the Campbell Reporter, the Cupertino Courier, etc.), had told me that they were full at the moment; but to contact him in three to four weeks to see if they’re is a possible freelancing opportunity for me.

The second one, the guy from the Roseville Press-Tribune had given me a actual assignment.  I’m covering sports, but I’m still waiting on the response for which one.  I had voiced that I’ll like to do volleyball or tennis since I’ve already cover the two sports in college.  Hopefully the guy gets back to me asap so I can get a start on it.

Otherwise, for today, I’m just planning to look into my app over Sports Authority in Sunnyvale again, gotta get the ball rolling on one of these jobs haha.
