I have been in California for a week now, and even though I grew up down there in the past for 14 years, I’ve just started to noticed the big difference between Oregon and California, (besides in population size) on the issue of driving.
Oregon driver’s give the common curiosity to let you merge into the next lane. Californian’s just speed past you, honk their horns, and/or flipping off you as they past for trying to get into the same lane as they are.
Oregon driver’s use there turn signals…All…The…Damn…Time. While California drivers just randomly merge/turn into your lane without a such a signal, causing you to do any combination of hitting the horn, hitting the breaks, hitting the wall…whatever it might’ve been.
Oregon motorcyclist ride in the same line as the driver’s do. Californian motorcyclist drive do the same thing as Oregon motorcyclist, but they also drive in between the space in between the cars, easily throwing a non-experience California driver or a out of state driver.
California drivers are hella arrogant and impatient. Oregon drivers are the same way, like everywhere, but it’s few and far between. Like earlier today, there was one driver that was turning into the same lane that I was. We were both at the intersection, I was going right and he was going to the left (my right), and I had the right away, then the moment I started to turn into the nearest lane, the car comes flying bats outta hell at me and cut me off. During the time, the guy was blaring his horn at me while throwing up his hands. Well fucker I had the god damn right away and I was fucking taking advantage of it, get over it dumbass.
They’res fucktards (meaning that they do most of some of the list above) and smart drivers (meaning that they have limited “fucktard” moments) everywhere.
It just seems like they are more fucktards over the smart drivers down here in California than in Oregon.
