Below are the two bullets/agates that I did at my internship over at the Medford Mail Tribune on Saturday, May, 14, 2011. Both are doubleheaders, with the first one being St. Mary’s high school versus North Douglas High School. The second, below the St.Mary’s agate, is the doubleheader between Prospect High School and Bonzana High School.

NORTH DOUGLAS 3-7, ST.MARY’S 0-12 — Jake Isola smacked a three-run double to highlight an eight-run first inning for St. Mary’s in Game 2 of the nonleague twin bill.

Isola finished 2-for-3 with four RBIs in a game that was shortened to five innings but saw each Crusader starter post at least one hit.

Pancho Acuna tossed a complete-game one-hitter in the opener for the Crusaders (6-13) but took the loss as North Douglas’ Garrett Jenkins fired a no-hitter.
