Girls Wrestling District Round-Up

6A/5A Special District 3
Ivy McIntosh won the 115 District Title.Polly Olliff (105), Addison McGrady (120), Delila Tormis (130), Evie Olliff (155) were District Runner-ups for the Dragons, who finished third as a team. Ah Pymm McDaniel (100), Katie Smith (105), Lindsey Faulkner (115) finished third in their respective weight classes.

6A/5A Special District 2
Woodburn’s Erika Petronilo (135) and Areli Valtierra (235) finished District Runner-up for the Bulldogs.Emily Grassham(155) finished fourth, Jasmine Lopez (170) qualified for the State Wrestling Meet as well. Andrea Avendano (115) Isabella Renner (170) finished fifth in their respective weight classes.

4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 2
Cascade’s Evelyn Wirfs (170) Chelsie Howard (190) finished District Runner-up. Willamina’s Zoe Brewer was third at 105. Stayton’s Riley McCalmant (145) finished third as well.

4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 1
Kennedy’s Alex Geschwill won the 130 pound Title, winning the Trojans their first-Ever Girls District winner. Gervais’ SariahWinner. won the 135 pound Title.Jenrose Ifenuk finished fourth at 190. North Marion’s Bethany Dunn (110, fourth-place) and Ambar Benito (170) became the first Huskie Girls wrestlers to qualify for the State Meet. Dunn and Benito are joined by Esmerelda Pacheco as the first North Marion Girls Wrestlers to place at a District Meet.
