SILVERTON, Ore.– After a tough start to the season, the Silverton Boys Soccer team has finally slowly started to piece it all together coming down the stretch of the 2022 season. Having gone three for their last three games with wins, the Foxes Boys Soccer team is now 3-1 in Mid-Willamette Conference play and going into an important part of their league schedule with West Albany up next.
“They’ve been huge. I think it really boosted our confidence because our start wasn’t the best that we have and I’m just really proud of my team and how we’ve just brought the team together these past three games,” Carlos Flores said. “We’re now going into West Albany and hopefully we’ll bring the same intensity as tonight.
“Those last three games we have…you hope to get some wins or some good results because we want to make the playoffs. So we want to go in with confidence and play hard.”
Flores scored two of Silverton’s three goals Thursday in their 3-0 victory over South Albany. Erza Bradford had the other goal as the Foxes head to finish the season with the Bulldogs, Corvallis, Crescent Valley and Senior Day with McKay on October 25.
