Boys Soccer

Cascade Boys Soccer defeats Junction City 4-0 to open the season Tuesday. Sam Horne and Spencer Horne each had two goals 


Stayton opens their season with a 4-1 win over Molalla.  Jesse Wright had a two goal game while Riley Burns and Omar Garcia scored the final three goals as the Eagles led 4-0 at halftime.  The Indians scored in the 88th minute to break-up the shutout.

North Salem’s Kabiso Gedeon breaks up Ridgeview’s shutout bid in the second half of the Vikings tough 3-1 season opening loss at Ridgeview Tuesday.

Girls Soccer

Adri Frank sets up Haili Nyquist for Stayton’s lone goal of the game Tuesday in the Eagles tough 8-1 defeat to Molalla at Molalla

South Salem opens the season with an 8-0 win over Lebanon. The Saxon JV squad won 4-0.

Volleyball

Cascade Swept St. Helens 25-7, 25-15, 25-15 to open the season. Lucreatia Benolken had 15 kills to eight aces, Meah Carley had 31 assists and Jadyn Daviscourt led the team with 12 digs in the win.South Salem swept Redmond 25-8, 25-13, 25-15 for their second win of the year. Brooskie Isham had 12 kills, Kayleigh Carpenter had 13 digs and Kamree Orizotti contributed 18 assists in the sweep.

North Marion defeats Gladstone 25-13, 15-25, 25-22, 25-14 to open the season.  The Huskies are off until the Cascade Tournament September 10.

McNary swept Lakeridge 25-15, 25-17, 25-14 to open the season


Stayton picks up their first win of the year in five sets over Molalla. Molly Schotthoefer has 12 kills in the game.

25-20, 23-25, 25-12, 14-25, 15-10Perrydale sweeps Valor Christian 

25-15, 25-14, 25-13 to improve to 3-0 on the year.

Willamette Valley Christian fell to North Clackamas Christian 25-4, 25-7, 25-9 to open the season.

Crosshill Christian suffered their first loss of the year to Open Door Christian Academy 25-12, 25-17, 25-17.

Kennedy fell to Knappa in their second game of the season 27-25, 27-29, 25-19, 25-14

Santiam took Monroe to four sets to open their twin bill games at Scio before falling to the Loggers in straight-sets Tuesday night.
