Sprague’s Rory Lampe, South Salem’s Danny Alvarado, Stayton’s Connor Hollenbeck and the Olympians Olivia Borzy all had Home Runs in Saturday’s action. Cascade Softball finished second in the Oregon West Conference after falling in extras to Newport.

Sprague baseball sweeps their doubleheader with McNary 7-1, 6-1. Rory Lampe went 3-for-6 with 3RBI’s and a solo Home Run in the second game of the doubleheader for the Olympains. Logan Ready struck out four for the Celtics.
South Salem’s Danny Alvarado had a lead-off Home Run in the top half of the fifth inning as the Saxons fell to South Eugene 13-9. Alvarado, Braedy Vogt and Tyler Minney each had 2RBI’s each in the game.
West Salem’s Gabe Fletcher drove in 3RBI’s as the Titans split with West Albany 14-4, 3-6 in West Salem. Simon Mathios drove in 3RBI’s for the Bulldogs.

Connor Hollenbeck (three), Danner Salisbury (four) and Cody Leming (four) combined for 11 strikeouts in the Eagles 8-3 defeat to Sisters. Hollenbeck (solo Home Run as well) and Brock Hubert each had two hits. Garrett Vohns drove in 3RBI’s and had a two-run Home Run

Regis’ Noah Koenig drove in 4RBI’s, Kollin Schumacher, Max Eaton and Tristan Klascius each had 3RBI’s in the Rams 20-11 win over East Linn Christian on the road. Eaton also strong out three. Devin King drove in 3RBI’s for the Eagles.

Olivia Borzy hit a 2-run Home Run in Sprague’s 6-5 win over West Albany. Sophia Honse struck out 11 while going 2-for-4, joining Borzy and Ali Ginsbach who had two hits in the game. Sidnee Holloway had a game-high 4RBI’s for the Bulldogs.

Hannah Walliman struck out six while going 2-for-4 in Cascade’s 6-5 defeat to Newport in eight innings to finish second in the Oregon West Conference. Alexis Bales also went 2-for-3 for the Cougars.
