1A-6A Baseball/Softball Scoreboard

Scio baseball completes a 12-3 regular season with Yamhill-Carlton winning the baseball PacWest. Salem Academy’s Brandon Reed threw a 19-strikeout, one-hitter. St. Paul’s Payton Saucy continues her rampage and so did South Salem’s Rowan Thompson in the circle Friday.


Yamhill-Carlton outscored Amity 45-2 to clinch the PacWest Conference baseball title.  Wyatt Hurley drove in 7RBI’s, Carson Roberts drove in another 6RBI’s.  George Meeker and Hunter Barber drove in the runs for the Warriors.

Scio sweeps their doubleheader with Blanchet Catholic 20-9, 15-8.  Blake Brown drove in 6RBI’s and Dustin Erickson drove in another 5RBI’s.  The Loggers Garrett Young struck out seven as Scio’s pitching staff had 22 total strikeouts.Tyler Millican had three hits for the Cavaliers.


Brandon Reed struck out 19 in a complete game one-hitter for Salem Academy in their 9-0 win over Santiam.  Landon Iverson and Isaiah Sullivan each collected two hits.  

Regis’ Byron Bishop struck out seven and drove in 3RBI’s in the Rams 14-4 win over Jefferson.  The Lions Haden Gough was 1-for-3 with an RBI.


St. Paul 12, Colton 1 in five innings.


South Salem’s Rowan Thompson struck out 10 and Hallie Olson hit a Home Run in the Saxons 6-5 win over Sprague.  The Olympians Sophia Honse struck out 11 in six innings.

Allayana Broadway and Reagan Davis each drove in 2RBI’s in West Salem’s tough 10-4, 14-4 defeats to West Albany.  Presely Jantzi had two Home Runs for the Bulldogs on 4-for-7 hitting and 7RBI’s.


Dallas’ Maddie Doig went 2-for-3 and Katie Buchholz struck out nine in four innings in the Dragons 4-2 defeat to Corvallis 

Central rolls to a 12-0 victory over Stayton Friday. Emily Cole struck out eight and was 2-for-3 with 4RBI’s at the plate. Cassie Ainsworth was 4-for-4


Blanchet Catholic and Scio split their doubleheader. Loggers taking game one 8-6, Cavs taking game two 13-2

Yamhill-Carlton sweeps Amity 14-3 (in five innings), 11-1 (in six innings)


St. Paul’s Payton Saucy drove in a game-high 5RBI’s in the Buckaroos 25-14 win over Regis.  Jordan Caldwell and Halsie Hempfling each drove in 4RBI’s.  Brooklyn Cross struck out seven for the Rams and LeaAna DeLosReyes had a team-high 3RBI’s for Regis.
