Here is some Salem-Area scores for April 27 as Blanchet Baseball and softball, Scio baseball, Regis Baseball, Gervais softball and Dallas/West Salem softball split Tuesday evening.

Jackson Muth struck out nine in Sprague’s tough 2-1 defeat to Crescent Valley. Jackson VanEyk struck out 14 for the Raiders
3A
Tyler Millican drove in 3RBI’s in Blanchet Catholic’s 7-4 win over Amity. Luke Holland struck our seven in three-and-a-third. Brandon Aird went 2-for-3 in the game.
Scio saw Blake Brown and Garrett Young drive in runs and Toby Mask coming in for the two-inning save as the Loggers improve to 6-1 win their 5-3 win over Dayton. The Pirates Kaden Fergus struck out seven in five innings.

Josh Blish drove in 3RBIs in Regis’ 16-4 win over Salem Academy. Caleb Ivey drove in 2RBI’S for the Crusaders.Softball6A/5A

Maison Searle went 4-for-8 with 5RBI’s to lead a West Salem offense in their 5-7, 9-5 doubleheader split with Dallas. Lauryn Johnson hit a solo home run for the Titans. The Dragons had Kadence Morrison hit two home runs, drove in 8RBI’s on 3-for-9 hitting while striking out four in six-and-two-thirds pitching. Maddie Doig also hit a home run for Dallas, going 3-for-9 with an RBI.

Stayton’s Jessica Rule hit a lead-off home run as the Eagles defeated Valley Catholic 17-2 on the road.

Blanchet’s Alexis Jensen hit two home runs in the Cavaliers 14-5 win over Amity in Amity.

Marisol Ayala struck out nine in Gervais’ 9-5 win over Perrydale with Alexa Rutledge driving in 3RBIs. Cora Gleason and Rosenbaum drove in runs for the Pirates
Rylie Newton, Jenna Hopkins, and Morgan Kyle drove in 2RBI’s each as Kennedy defeated Toledo 14-4 in six innings. Hopkins struck out 12 in six innings. Elka Fisher had a home run for the Boomers who scored the first runs of the year against the Trojans
