SHERIDAN, Ore.– It was one of those tough games that will make you tougher and better for entering your next game.
Nestucca’s physicality had challenged Sheridan during the opening half of the Bobcats 34-6 victory Saturday afternoon, creating opportunities for Nestucca to take advantage. Leading 26-0 at the halftime break over the Spartans.
“Nestucca’s physicality was just tough to defend. Their O-Line was moving guys all day,” Sheridan Head Coach Will Worley said. “After a rough first half, I was glad to see our guys fight and trade scores in the second half. Lots to work on as a team for Colton on Thursday night.”
A Ty Tomlinson-to-Wyatt Napier touchdown reception broke the shutout bid in the second half as the two squads traded scores in the final 24 minutes. Sheridan will be looking for their first win of the season Thursday when they host the Vikings at 7pm on a short-week.
