By Tournament’s end though, Blanchet brought home as well the Sportsmanship Award, a first in program history.  Halfman was named to the First team, Kayla Neidigh, Ally Jones and Kaela Salang  were named to the Second Team were named to the All-State Team.

Head Coach Sherrie Bashaw was proud with how much this team did to overcome the adversity of losing a teammate as they went to work trying to fulfill their goals and expectations that they set forth for themselves.

“So very proud of these amazing young ladies, and despite not finishing in the place they wanted, they were resilient through all the adversity, played together as a true team, never ever gave up and came home with more hardware than ever before. Love these girls!,” said Bashaw.
