NEWBERG, Ore.–  In their final weekend of their season, the Oregon Titans 10U squad battled their way through to the tournament where they found themselves fighting for the 2018 NAFA 10U Tournament Title.

“It was just a great experience with this whole team and everyone on it because we’ve all played so hard thoughout this whole weekend and we really deserved first place,” said Scio’s Mylegh Cooper, who was one of the pitchers in their match-up versus the Sparks Sunday afternoon.

As the tall Titan delivered the dominate pitches, the bats exploded for the eight-run victory to seal the Title win for the Oregon Titans.

For Cooper, it was almost like she was feeding off of her squad as they piece together the victory in the tournament in which the Titans 10U went undefeated in this final weekend of the season.

“It was really nice to pitch this game because I brought my team that part that we really needed,” said Cooper.  “Like a bunch of us put a lot of effort into this and I put a lot of effort into my pitching.”

And with them taking turns running the bases a team one last time, sliding into home laughing and cheering, it’s a memory that they’ll won’t forget with the school year just around the corner.
